We are very excited to finally launch our project, in which we have been working with love and dedication for months. We are two sisters, born and raised in Costa Rica. Adriana is a mother of 4 and an intellectual property lawyer. Marcela is a mother of one boy and a publicist and producer, who was in charge of the international promotion of coffee from Costa Rica in ICAFE for over 7 years.
Our inspiration: The high quality coffee we have in our country, Costa Rica, and our admiration for those men and women who work the land and believe, as we do, in the abundance of their farms and their exceptional productive and creative capacity.
Roblesabana Coffee are single-origin coffees from Costa Rica, which means that they come from a single estate, no mixtures or blends. We look for, obtain and offer only specialty coffees. Specialty coffees are grown in special and ideal climates, and are distinctive because of their full cup taste and little to no defects. Our specialty coffees have unique flavors and tastes, which are the result of the special characteristics and composition of the soils in which they are produced. Plus, we work with quality focused producers.
Roblesabana Coffee are sourced under Direct Trade, that is, obtained and selected personally, straight from the farm, looking for new flavors, processes and varieties that Costa Rican producers offer but are rarely accessible directly to consumers. The Direct Trade main object is to connect producers with consumers, closing the coffee trading chain and reducing costs for the final coffee lover, while paying a fair price for every coffee bag directly to the producer. Direct trade practices promote systems that encourage and incentivize quality.
Furthermore, we are proud to have Ricardo Azofeifa in our team, master cup taster, roaster, Q grader and two-time barista champion of Costa Rica, as our green coffee hunter, cup taster and roaster. Our coffees are roasted to order, which guarantees its freshness and the quality we thrive to deliver.

We are a microentreprise owned by Costa Rican women. Our delicious, specialty coffees are grown by women in Tarrazú, Poás, Naranjo and Sabanilla in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
